About the Role
Aura Steel has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Steel Sales Traderto join our team, with a focus on business growth by building relationships, leveraging existing networks and exploring new market opportunities across all of Australia.
Overall role requirements include:
- Manage existing customer relationships, including ongoing sales and end-to-end support
- Liaising with suppliers and sourcing of suitable steel products to meet client needs
- Drive further business development through new customer relationships and sales
- Required to travel across Australia to visit customers and new market opportunities
- Attendance at key industry and market events as a representative of the business
- New product development in response to customer demand
- Undertake forecasting, scheduling and annual budgeting to meet business expectations
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- At least two (2+) years of demonstrated successful experience within a sales role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary sales approach to customers.
Desirable:
- Experience in the importation of Steel materials into Australia.
- Knowledge of steel materials and differing applications.
- Experience in a management position.
- Computer literacy and analytical skills.
