About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant at our Emerald Avalon facility, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence for our residents. Working as part of a dedicated care team, you'll help foster a supportive and compassionate environment every day. This is a part-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Flexibility to work across various shifts as required
- Support residents with daily living activities, including meals and hydration
- Observe and report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver individualised care plans
- Build meaningful connections with residents, families, and the local community
What You Will Need
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
- Previous aged care experience (preferred)
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, reliable nature
