We're looking for an IT Coordinator to join our Head Office team in Summer Hill, providing hands-on support across our sites. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about technology and education.

The Role:

As IT Coordinator, you'll manage Office 365 applications, support staff with software issues, assist with CCTV and access control systems, and maintain IT assets and data. While based at Head Office, you'll travel to other sites as needed to provide technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• O365 Support: Assist in managing Office 365 applications, including user setup, access control, and basic troubleshooting.
• Software Assistance: Develop proficiency in commonly used software applications, offering user-friendly support to clients under guidance.
• Client Interaction: Act as a responsive point of contact for internal clients, addressing their IT queries and requests in a clear, jargon-free, and timely manner.
• Task Prioritisation: Learn to manage and prioritize client requests, ensuring prompt delivery of solutions with utmost respect for their limited time.
• Basic Security Management: Participate in CCTV and access control management, with in-house training provided.
• Data and Asset Management: Assume responsibility for organizing and maintaining data and IT assets efficiently.
• Systems Audits: Contribute to regular systems audits to ensure compliance and proper functioning.
• Problem Assistance: Collaborate with senior team members to identify and address basic technical issues, always striving for simplicity in explanations.
• Team Collaboration: Contribute to IT projects, upgrades, and rollouts within cross-functional teams.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of interactions and solutions for future reference.
• External Support: Collaborate with external vendors for escalation and assistance when required.
• Training Support: Assist in providing basic training to end-users on software tools and applications.

What We're Looking For:

• High school certificate or equivalent; pursuing or completed coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Valid driver's license for site visits.
• Basic understanding of O365 administration, with an eagerness to learn about IT concepts, security management, data, and asset organisation.
• Exceptional customer service qualities, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and without jargon to non-technical individuals.
• Willingness to learn basic troubleshooting, with guidance from experienced team members.
• Developing time management skills to handle tasks and requests effectively, recognising the importance of clients' time constraints.
• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively and learning from colleagues.
• Openness to learning new technologies as the IT landscape evolves.
• Attentiveness to detail when recording information and following procedures.
