
Operations Manager; Business Banking and Third-Party

Are you a strategic Operations leader with a passion for driving excellence in business banking and third-party origination? IMB is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise the operational delivery of our Business Banking and Third-Party functions on a 12 month fixed term contract.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless execution across internal processes, broker channel enablement, and strategic project delivery. You'll lead a high-performing support team, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to IMB's purpose: providing simple, authentic banking that makes our members and communities better off.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business operations and resolve escalations to ensure service continuity
- Drive strategic projects and represent Business Banking in cross-functional initiatives
- Oversee broker onboarding, accreditation, and channel enablement
- Provide strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with IMB's risk and regulatory frameworks
- Champion training, development, and continuous improvement across the team
What You'll Bring
- Proven leadership and coaching experience
- Deep knowledge of business banking and commercial lending products
- Strong financial analysis and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- High digital literacy and proficiency in IMB systems and MS Office
- Experience in client service within a financial environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Banking, Finance, Management, or related fields would be highly desirable
