Are you a strategic Operations Leader with a passion for driving excellence in business banking and third-party origination? IMB is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise the operational delivery of our Business Banking and Third-Party functions on a 12 month fixed term contract.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless execution across internal processes, broker channel enablement, and strategic project delivery. You'll lead a high-performing support team, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to IMB's purpose: providing simple, authentic banking that makes our members and communities better off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business operations and resolve escalations to ensure service continuity
  • Drive strategic projects and represent Business Banking in cross-functional initiatives
  • Oversee broker onboarding, accreditation, and channel enablement
  • Provide strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with IMB's risk and regulatory frameworks
  • Champion training, development, and continuous improvement across the team

What You'll Bring

  • Proven leadership and coaching experience
  • Deep knowledge of business banking and commercial lending products
  • Strong financial analysis and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • High digital literacy and proficiency in IMB systems and MS Office
  • Experience in client service within a financial environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Banking, Finance, Management, or related fields would be highly desirable
