We're currently seeking an experienced administrator who is experienced within the allied health industry to be the friendly face at the front of our practice.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Administrator to join our team. This part-time/casual role is an integral part of our growing allied health practice, providing vital administrative support to our physiotherapists and ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations.
The role is ideal for part time or casual candidate. Hours will be approx 15 hours per week with the occasional closing shift (6pm finish).
What you'll be doing
- Manage patient bookings, schedules and records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
- Process payments and health fund claims, issue receipts and maintain financial records- DVA, HICAPS, WORKCOVER, NDIS, INSURANCE BILLINGS
- Liaise with patients, referrers and other stakeholders in a professional and customer-focused manner
- Provide administrative support to the physios, including filing, photocopying and data entry
- Assist with the implementation of practice policies and procedures
- Excellent communication within the admin and physio team
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a health or medical administrative or receptionist role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using common office software, such as Microsoft Office, as well as practice management systems Nookal.
- A demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and attention to detail
- A passion for providing high-quality support and contributing to the overall success of the practice
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicator.
