We currently have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Deli Supervisor to join our team at Seasons IGA Wises Rd. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading and supporting our deli team to success.

The Role

As a Deli Supervisor, you'll assist in managing the daily operations of the department and help create a positive team culture. You will treat the department as your own, ensuring high standards of service, presentation, and compliance are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and motivating the deli team to achieve results.
  • Supporting stock ordering, control, and merchandising.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Assisting with staff training, development, and rostering.
  • Driving a positive, hands-on team culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Significant deli or fresh food retail knowledge.
  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for fresh food and exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to lead by example with a positive "can-do" attitude.
