Our client is a leading supplier of building products throughout Australia who are looking for a
**Dispatch Supervisor** for their operation on the Sunshine Coast

We need someone with supervisory experience to combine management and hands on skills to lead their dispatch team.

The client is looking for someone who comes from a manufacturing or logistics background who knows the industry well

Your duties and responsibilities include:

- Controlling & leading the despatch department
- Monitor all safety performance
- Target Setting
- Load Planning
- Cost monitoring
- Asset management
- Ensuring products are delivered to a high standard and in an efficient manner
- Supervision inline with stakeholders
- Coordinate with customer service & production supervisors

You will need the following to be considered.
- Previous experience in logistics or distribution management
- Formal training in Lean Distribution or other process improvement systems
- A strong understanding of OHS requirements in the workplace
- Clear & concise verbal and written communication
- Strong computer skills
- Must have own car and licence

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 5am - 1.00 pm with overtime available in busy periods.

A good remuneration package on offer dependent on experience.
