Concrete Batching Plant Operator

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Concrete Batching Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating batching equipment to produce high-quality concrete, ensuring compliance with specifications, and maintaining the safe and efficient running of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate batching plant controls to produce concrete in line with project requirements and quality standards.
• Weigh and mix aggregates, cement, water, and additives accurately according to batch specifications.
• Monitor plant operation, adjusting controls to regulate production output, pressure, speed, and flow.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain plant equipment, including conveyors, mixers, silos, and storage bins.
• Perform minor servicing, lubrication, and basic repairs as required.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of raw materials.
• Work from mix job sheets, drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Complete production records, quality checks, and daily reports.
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience operating a concrete batching plant or similar production equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of concrete mix designs and quality control requirements (desirable).
• Ability to follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $77,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
