The Role

An opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and dedicated Production Operator to join our close knit Adbri Masonry team in Nowra. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality masonry products and contributing to our ongoing success as a market leader in the industry.

We offer successful candidates comprehensive masonry product training, tailored to connect your current skills and knowledge to our industry. Additionally, we are committed to investing in your development, with opportunities to broaden your experience for those who show the ambition and drive to grow alongside us.

This full-time, permanent position works a 4-day working week from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 6am to 6pm. There is also the possibility of overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
  • Follow correct work procedures at all times
  • Operation of forklifts for the movement of goods to/from the work area
  • Quality Assurance and packaging of outgoing goods
  • Ensure yard and inventory is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Following established procedures for documenting and/or reporting work performed, hazards and incidents
  • Support the production team including general labouring duties and basic machine operation
  • Basic maintenance of forklifts, plant and equipment in the work area
  • General housekeeping and cleaning

  • Ability to communicate confidently and work in a team
  • Mechanical aptitude (highly regarded)
  • Ability and desire to multiskill and perform various production role tasks
  • Forklift High Risk License (highly regarded)
