About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Batch maker/Machine Operator to join a leading, Australian-owned food manufacturing company based in Villawood. We are seeking a reliable and skilled operator for an ongoing morning shift role that offers stability and the potential for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sanitization (e.g., basic procedures/steps, GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES in a food plant, identifying risks)
  • Working with high-speed production lines (e.g., high output, high performance equipment, fast paced production environment, etc.)
  • Reading schedules (e.g., products being produced, understanding production requirements, production planning, managing changeovers, etc.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) as a Batchmaker/Machine Operator in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • With a Valid Forklift license
  • Essential: Industry experience within an FMCG environment, with prior knowledge of operating production lines.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Full-time availability
  • Can attend a site tour and interview before commencement.
