Team Leader – Production/Support - Permanent Full-Time

Valmar Support Services is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to provide quality support services to people with disabilities, the frail aged and other disadvantaged members of the community to enable them to participate and integrate in the community.

A permanent full-time vacancy exist for a motivated Team Leader – Production/Support, who will join our team and make a positive difference to people with a disability within Valmar's Business Services team in Tumut.

The successful applicant must be willing to undertake a NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and hold an Australian Drivers Licence. It is desirable that you have a current First Aid Certificate and hold or willing to undertake training towards a Certificate IV in Community Services. Also desirable, Forklift and HR licence, experience in timber processing, or previous experience in the disability industry.

Essential:

  • Willing to complete a medical
  • Be prepared to work weekends upon request or part of a fixed roster
  • Work as part of a team
  • Commitment to working with employees with a disability
  • Experience in operating and maintaining factory machinery, including forklifts and timber processing equipment
  • Efficient computer skills
