About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Field Operations Coordinator to join the Operations, People and Safety team in Tumbarumba.
The Field Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing direct operational assistance and support to local management in delivering construction, maintenance and customer service work on Essential Energy's electrical and energy related network including the organising of daily resource allocations, local project planning and activities where immediate changes to pre-planned works or resources arise.
The Field Operations Coordinator is also responsible for controlling and directing the work site's daily field tasks, effective utilisation of resources providing a strong safety focus, effective work site control ensuring work site safety, health and environmental requirements and procedures are met.
About you
You are an experienced leader in energy distribution, skilled in supervising site activities and coordinating teams across construction, maintenance, and customer service. You bring strong safety leadership, regulatory knowledge, and effective communication with stakeholders. Technologically proficient, you manage time well, mentor staff, and lead dedicated work groups to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV of Leadership and Management or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
- Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems or Electrotechnology Trade.
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate.
- Driver Licence.
