Based in Muswellbrook, you will play a long-term and pivotal role in supporting the rehabilitation and remediation of AGL's assets as we transition to renewable generation and storage, as we push to 12GW by 2035.

- Assist with engagement with external bodies on issues relating to rehabilitation and remediation of AGL Macquarie assets.
- Facilitate statutory notification, reporting, and environmental investigations.
- Provide professional and technical advice in relation to effective environmental management for the project.
- Manage EMS and project regulatory compliance tracking and awareness.
- Assist the Liddell Transition team with environmental management practice and raise awareness and understanding of environmental issues.
- Coach, coordinate, and mentor Liddell Transition Team members in environment and compliance matters.
- Assist in developing effective working relationships with key regulatory authorities such as EPA, DPIE, NSW Treasury, or others as required.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or another scientific/technical field required.
- Experience in a similar role with rehabilitation/closure and remediation, particularly contamination.
- Strong project management skills preferred.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Understanding of NSW planning and regulatory framework for State Significant Developments.
