About the role
Steve's Tree Cutting is seeking an experienced Arborist to join our team on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This is a full-time position offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As an Arborist, you will be responsible for the safe maintenance and upkeep of trees and other greenery across residential and commercial properties in the local area.
What you'll be doing
- Prune, trim, and cut trees and hedges to maintain their shape and prevent safety hazards
- Remove dead, dying, or dangerous trees and plants
- Operate a range of specialised tools and equipment, including chainsaws, stump grinders, and cherry pickers
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and compliant manner
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications in Arboriculture or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience as an Arborist
- Proficient in the use of arborist tools and equipment
- A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
- A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
