We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundsman to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As an employee at Affordable Tree Specialists, you will play a vital role in supporting our tree care operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting with tree trimming, pruning, and removal, as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
  • Ensure the worksite is clean and safe before, during, and after projects.
  • Support the lead arborist and other team members as needed.
  • Safely load and transport debris and equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Valid truck driver's license (must have).
  • Experience: Previous experience in the tree care industry is highly desirable.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
