About the role:

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance fitter & skilled operatorto join our team at Olsson's Pacific Salt in Yennora NSW 2161.

This is a full-time position Monday - Friday (7am-3pm) that will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our packaging equipment used on site.

Specific tasks:

· Responsible for the daily operation of packaging equipment (currently two sets of machines).

· Daily and routine clean and lubricate equipment

· Responding promptly to breakdowns and urgent repairs to keep production moving. Ensure the proper operation of equipment

· Carrying out preventative and routine maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.

· Involve handling materials such as packaging film and cartons, as well as performing repetitive tasks

· General warehouse duties/tasks as required

· Solid understanding of PLC system

About you:

· Relevant Trade certification Australian Recognised, not essential

· Competency in identifying and reporting defects and suggesting improvements to existing plant equipment, methods and procedures.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

· Demonstrated strong commitment to safety

· Work experience with proven track in the similar role is a must

· Current C Class Drivers' Licence unrestricted & Forklift License (highly desired)

· Mandarin speaker – to communicate with the machine manufacturer (highly desired)
