About the Centre

Our facility features a 50-metre lap pool, toddler's pool, kiosk, and grassed areas for large and small groups to enjoy. We regularly bring out our giant inflatables and host Family Fun Days over the summer

About the Roles

• Lifeguard- help provide a safe swimming environment for all centre visitors. You'll be patient, focused and friendly to keep pool-users informed and safe. This is a casual position with an hourly rate up to $ Super.
• Duty Manager- have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and will maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions. This is a casual position with an hourly rate up to $ Super.
• Pool Coordinator- an important part of the facility leadership team. Coordinators manage and lead teams of employees in assigned areas and ensure that the delivery of the programs and services meets agreed standards. They will lead, inspire, and motivate teams through clear and achievable team goals and ensure high standards of implementation of Policies and Procedures. This is a casual position with an hourly rate up to $ Super.

About You

We are seeking motivated, organised and pro-active team members to come and join the team. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and all facility users. Other required qualities are:

• Ability to make decisions while under pressure
• Being able to manage conflicts with patrons and users
• Ability to stay alert and vigilant in a repetitive work environment
• Ability to multitask
• Providing excellent customer service for all members and guests
• Experience in the Aquatics and Leisure industry will be highly regarded

Essential Qualifications

• Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
