The Role

Due to continuous growth, we are currently seeking applications from experienced recruitment processionals with proven experience in blue collar recruitment within the construction and/or mining and resources industries to join us in the position of Recruitment Advisor.

As Recruitment Advisor, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting and recruiting prospective talent in accordance with company resourcing strategies, whilst maintaining respectful and mutually rewarding stakeholder relationships. You will also be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Working with key personnel to ensure recruitment needs across nationwide projects are adequately resourced

  • Assisting in the development of alternate sourcing strategies to build talent pools nationally for future projects

  • Collecting market data through the sourcing and selection process of candidates to keep on top of market trends

  • Providing advice to Hiring Managers and Stakeholders on specific recruitment procedures, selection criteria and mobilisation requirements

  • Preparing job advertisements, web postings, and other material in accordance with company recruitment standards and business needs

  • Adhering to effective recruitment management systems and processes to ensure audit compliance and best practice

  • Providing frequent data analysis on recruitment activity for reporting purposes

  • Liaising with external medical providers to schedule appointments according to project specific requirements

  • Administrative duties associated with sourcing and selection of candidates throughout the entirety of the recruitment process

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have proven experience in a similar position along with the following skills and attributes:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an internal role supporting the growth of blue collar personnel in the construction industry and/or mining industry

  • Ability and confidence to build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders

  • Exceptional time management abilities coupled with a strong awareness of urgency, ensuring tasks are prioritised and completed efficiently

  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written

  • Ability to multitask and identify importance of priorities

  • Ability to work under pressure and meat tight deadlines
