Heritage House Co is the team behind two of Sydney's most distinctive and award-winning bars — The Doss House and Frank Mac's, both located in the heart of The Rocks.

Each venue has its own soul and story:

  • The Doss House, a 170-year-old whisky bar set beneath sandstone walls, celebrates craftsmanship, connection and storytelling.
  • Frank Mac's, a bright and spirited gin and cocktail bar, blends old-world charm with contemporary flair.

Together, they form Heritage House Co — where history, hospitality and creativity meet.

We're seeking a Marketing Manager to lead our storytelling and elevate both venues' visibility. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, hands-on marketer to shape the identity of two of Sydney's most unique hospitality brands — and to work on some incredible collaborations and experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute engaging marketing campaigns across social media, digital, PR and partnerships.
  • Manage content creation and storytelling across both venues' social platforms.
  • Drive promotions for live music, events, and seasonal menus — including intimate gigs with international artists.
  • Lead creative campaigns around brand collaborations, pop-ups and festival activations.
  • Create and manage email marketing, digital advertising and in-venue promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with operations and events teams to drive bookings and brand growth.
  • Build relationships with media, tourism networks and local partners.
  • Track campaign performance and provide regular marketing insights and recommendations.

About You

You're a natural storyteller with a passion for hospitality, culture and creative experiences. You love bringing a brand's personality to life and connecting with an audience through authentic and inspiring content.

You'll bring:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing (hospitality, lifestyle or entertainment preferred).
  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation and campaign delivery.
  • Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
  • Experience with email marketing, paid campaigns and design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
  • A creative eye for photography or videography (bonus if you can shoot or edit).
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
