Australia's Largest Hat Store is seeking a new team member to join the hat family

The 35 year-old family-run business operates from three retail locations on the Gold Coast and one located in Brisbane.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Attendant to work approximately 15-30 hours across a Monday - Friday roster. The successful candidate will be computer literate, ideally with at least 12 months pick/packing and dispatch experience in an e-commerce environment, high attention to detail, strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and the ability to follow instructions. Must be able to work within a team or autonomously.

Our fast paced, ever-changing environment means you will always have secondary work to do within the warehouse when all of the orders have been picked and packed.

Being computer savvy and having sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Magento and StarShipIt/Shopify or other shipping platforms is highly regarded.

Your days will be spent picking, packing and sending online orders all over the world. You will be using a variety of different couriers and shipping services. The successful candidate should be confident, reliable and able to follow instructions. We are looking for a highly motivated team player with a "can do" attitude and genuine commitment.

The role will primarily consist of the following tasks;

  • Picking and packing and goods
  • Dispatching hundreds of customer online orders in a timely manner
  • Upkeep of warehouse and general housekeeping duties
  • Maintaining stock levels of shipping goods
  • Receipting and unboxing inbound deliveries & scanning inventory into the system
  • Restocking 3 busy retail stores
  • Stock takes and on the spot inventory counts
  • Any other ad hoc warehouse duties as required
