About the role

Dependable Care DRPS is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Epping, Victoria. This full-time role will involve providing high-quality occupational therapy services to our diverse client base, helping them regain and maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, goals and functional abilities
  • Developing and implementing individualised rehabilitation programs to address clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care
  • Providing education and training to clients, families, and carers to promote self-management and independence
  • Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed clinical records
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our occupational therapy services

What we're looking for

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience in providing occupational therapy services, ideally in a community or rehabilitation setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on client-centred practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in using relevant documentation and reporting systems
  • A passion for helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life
