Your next opportunity:

We are actively seeking a Senior Plant Attendant to join our team at Berrima. Reporting to the Shift Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of our plant including ensuring compliance with safety protocols, materials handling, maintaining quality control of our products and providing hands on staff support.

Your day will involve:

  • Monitoring and controlling the usage of raw materials, chemicals and other plant utilities
  • Undertaking advanced inspection, monitoring, analysis, fault finding and reporting
  • Actively responding to calls from Control Room for support, investigation, fault finding by analysing plant processes
  • Quality control testing
  • Coordinating truck and material movements and vac truck activities to ensure optimum efficiency of resources
  • Liaising with project engineers, project managers and workshop staff to provide timely supply and dispatch of store items

What we are looking for:

  • Strong experience within the cement or manufacturing industries
  • Advanced inspection, fault finding, monitoring and production analysis skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability in safety leadership and implementation of key initiatives including continuous improvement
