If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant at Power Tools Plus, Forbes.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs
  • Provide expert advice and assistance to customers on tool and steel products
  • Assist customers in locating merchandise and making purchasing decisions
  • Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Maintain a clean and organised store environment
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a hardware or tool-related environment
  • Strong knowledge of tools and steel products, including their uses and applications (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in using a POS system
  • Forklift ticket (preferred)
  • MR drivers licence (preferred)
