System Support Officer, Child Safety, Seniors and Disabilities

As System Support Officer you will:

  • Maintain data on the child protection information systems of the department and to ensure quality and accuracy of this data.
  • Request child protection and other information from other authorized child protection and other government agencies.
This role requires integrity, discretion and tact in dealing with the sensitive and confidential nature of information within the Child Safety Data Management Team

The System Support Officer key responsibilities are:

  • Maintain data on child protection information systems ensuring accuracy, completeness, quality and timeliness of input and output.
  • Request child protection history and other information from authorized child protection and other government agencies.
  • Interpret data and produce reports from existing departmental databases as required.
  • Identify and analyze complex problems in relation to child protection information and recommend solutions.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients of Child Safety Data Management Team.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of task related procedures and training material.
