WE'RE LOOKING FOR A GRASSHOPPER SOCCER SITE MANAGER OR EXPERIENCED COACH WHO IS WILLING TO BECOME A SITE MANAGER

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Grasshopper Soccer, where fun and education meet on the field If you're enthusiastic, committed, and have at least 12 months of coaching experience or have worked in a similar role, this position could be perfect for you.

Role Overview:

  • Position: Site Manager
  • Location: Various sites around Adelaide include Lockleys, Flagstaff Hill, Mitcham, Urrbrae and more.
  • Schedule: Saturday and Sunday availability preferred
  • Training: Paid training will be provided at Urrbrae High and Flagstaff Hill this term
  • Compensation: $36 per hour for adults

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage Grasshopper Soccer sessions at designated sites
  • Transport equipment to and from sites as needed
  • Ensure sessions run smoothly and safely
  • Engage with children and parents, fostering a positive and fun environment
  • Provide support and guidance to coaches
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and session details
  • Address any issues that arise during sessions promptly and effectively
  • Provide daily report to head office electronically

Key Attributes:

  • Upbeat and outgoing attitude towards coaching and engaging with children
  • Proven ability to manage and run Grasshopper Soccer games and activities
  • Strong behaviour management skills to maintain a fun and respectful environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills for planning and executing sessions
  • Must possess own transport and a valid driver's license
  • Required to have or be able to obtain a DCSI Working with Children check ASAP
  • First Aid certification is necessary
  • Availability on weekends is required
  • Weekday afternoon shifts are available on request
  • Commitment to the full 8-week term of our soccer program each school term
  • Most importantly, the ability to make soccer fun for our young grasshoppers

Experience:

  • While you don't need to be a soccer expert, some experience in soccer is preferable
  • Experience in a Management role is essential
  • Must have at least 12 months of experience in coaching or a similar role working with children

Training & Development:

  • Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to equip you with the knowledge and skills to succeed in your role
  • Site allocation after training will be based on current organisational needs

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $36.00 per hour

Expected Hours: Varies based on site allocation, but most common shifts are 8:30am to 11:30am
