Wimmera Mallee Waste Management seeks the services of an experienced person in the role of Relief Driver for our fleet of Sideloaders, Semi's and Hook Trucks.

The driving role is primarily to cover staff whom are away on annual leave, personal leave or any other such occasion requiring a relief driver.

Applicants should be aware that truck driving will involve time away overnight from home, as the business covers the 6 local shires of  Buloke, Glenelg, Hindmarsh, Northern Grampians, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack. Most driving days revolve around early start and finish times.

While the successful applicant would ideally be based in Horsham, consideration would be given to suitable applicants that are in based within the region.

Applicants will ideally require a Heavy Combination (HC) licence.  Consideration would be given to the right applicant with a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence that is willing to obtain their HC licence.

The successful applicant will be paid under the Waste Management Award at the relevant level.

The successful applicant should  be well presented, willing to learn, demonstrate a calm demeanor and be safety and customer focused.  Full driver training will be provided.
