Australian Garlic Producers Pty Ltd (AGP) is proudly Australian-owned and the nation's leading supplier of fresh garlic. As we continue to grow, we're seeking skilled and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our team in full-time, permanent role. You'll handle local runs and interstate trips, while also supporting our production and logistics teams across facilities.

What the role involves

Reporting to the Facility and Production Manager, the Truck Driver plays a vital role in keeping our operations moving. This position goes beyond transport supporting production, logistics, stock, and general factory/field functions. With safety, teamwork, and efficiency at the core, you'll be a key part of AGP's success story.

Local trips form the core of the role, with interstate travel required during harvest and planting seasons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure truck safety and serviceability at all times
  • Accurately complete log books, dockets, and compliance paperwork
  • Transport loads safely, with correct signage and strapping in line with legislation
  • Maintain tie-downs, load restraints, and equipment in safe working condition
  • Support production and logistics at both the Iraak and Goulding's Facilities
  • Operate forklifts and assist production lines when required
  • Ensure log books and timesheets are accurate and aligned
  • Adhere to all state and federal transport laws, including licensing and registration requirements
What We're Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • A current MC licence (please include on your resume)
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal transport legislation
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of integrity
  • Attention to detail in record-keeping and compliance
  • Low loader experience (highly regarded, but not essential)
