How will you make an impact
As a Data Engineer for our Adobe Experience Platform, this role is integral in enabling AMP's next-generation Martech capabilities, playing a key role in designing, developing and optimising data pipelines and enabling Personalisation at scale by building out data engineering solutions.
What you will bring to the role
- Previous experience in a data engineering, analytics or data scientist role
- Experience working with AWS Tech stack (S3, Athena, AWS Glue, Redshift)
- Extensive experience using relational databases and analytic tools to build data assets.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including Real-Time CDP, Data Ingestion, Data Prep, and/or Adobe Journey Optimizer
- Demonstrated expertise in the Adobe Experience Data Model (XDM), including hands-on experience modelling the customer using XDM Schemas, XDM Individual Profiles, and XDM Experience Events
- Strong understanding of identity mapping within AEP, and proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve profile collapse
- Experience with Adobe Data Distiller to perform post-ingestion data preparation for real-time customer profile and analytical use cases
- Ability to leverage Experience Platform APIs monitor dataflows within AEP
- Experience in data mining and exploration to understand relationships between data assets and systems, identify problems and come to a solution
- Proficient in building and managing complex data pipelines and integrations (batch and real-time)
- Experience defining testing and data quality programs
- Experience with API integrations, ETL/ELT tools, and customer data platforms
- Experience working with cloud storage systems, Azure, AWS S3 etc
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI Data models
Proven experience working and collaborating with IT delivery teams
