With depots across Brisbane, Tully and Far North Queensland, Blenners are the nationally trusted and respected refrigerated transport solution, working with leading retailers and well-known and reputable brands Australia-wide, with a strong emphasis on their customers and their team.

Blenners are currently seeking applications for a motivated Finance Junior/Finance Support Officer to join our team at the Tully Depot.

Reporting to our CFO, this is an exciting opportunity to work within our Tully depot. This is a full time opportunity, Monday to Friday shift. You'll be working autonomously as well as part of a larger finance team.

Your duties will include –

Accounts Receivable

• Invoice checking
• Customer receipting
• Where required, follow up and process client invoice / credit queries including investigating and resolving in a timely manner
• Raw materials invoicing

Payroll

• Scanning and renaming payroll archives
• Data entry – top end driving paperwork, MTDATA extras, genesis coding.
• New employee setup

Accounts payable and fuel officer

• Where required assist the fuel officer by running reports, driver phone calls.
• Assist accounts payable officer by processing invoices from emails to TRAILD, supplier reconciliations.

Other administrative and data entry tasks for the finance team as required.

About you –

• Experience in the transport industry preferred
• Experience with Translogix preferred but not essential
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
• Effective communicator with a customer service focus
• Foster and encourage environment of strong team development & continuous improvement
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment & challenges
• Excellent attention to detail
