Our clients is one of Australia's most enduring and respected chartered accounting firms. They are currently in a real growth mode and have a strong team of professionals, who offer a hands-on, personal service and a high level of technical knowledge to their clients. You will join a warm and engaging team from a variety of working and cultural backgrounds.

They work across a range of audit and tax specialist services, including forensic accounting, corporate advisory, and business recovery & insolvency. In the Senior/ Audit Manager role you will lead and mentor a team of people and manage relationships with clients.

They attract staff due to the modern approach to business, which means you'll have people in the business to support your role and help imbed you into the business.

Background Required

  • Proven experience (5 yeas ) in Australian external auditing and financial reporting
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Provide inspirational and engaging leadership to grow and develop people and talent within the team
  • Strong knowledge of the application of Australian Accounting Standards (AASBs) and Australian Standards of Auditing (ASAs)
  • Driver of delivery at all levels and stages of the audit process including planning, interim and final audits
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within a large client portfolio with quality, integrity, and clarity at the forefront of your approach and delivery
  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confident with the presentation of Audit Reports and Audit Management Letter to stakeholders at the executive level and through AGMs
  • Experience managing jobs and job budgets
