What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated fabricator who brings:

  • A recognized trade qualification Cert III in motor body building
  • Proven experience as a vehicle body builder or similar role in a vehicle manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in welding techniques, MIG & TIG on steel and aluminium
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Confidence to fabricate custom vehicle parts from scratch, including one-off prototypes
  • A strong team player who can also work independently and unsupervised
  • A creative, can-do attitude and passion for automotive innovation
  • Commitment to high-quality workmanship, attention to detail, and workshop safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and ready to get the job done

Your Main Duties:

  • Fabricate and fit custom vehicle bodies, trays, and components
  • Install custom-built equipment into a range of vehicle types
  • General sheet metal fabrication using steel and aluminium alloys
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure tools are in excellent condition
  • Collaborate closely with other trades and workshop staff to deliver high-end builds
