• Working Monday to Friday (6am – 2.30pm) with monthly rostered day off
• Work on unique marine equipment and a sophisticated range of Marine vessels.
• Further develop your trade assistant skills with a company that invests in your development.
• Located at the Port of Brisbane marine workshop (Operations Base) with some on vessel work.
• $ 77K + super + overtime plus loads of benefits including generous leave allowances including 18 week paid parental leave (gender neutral) and options to purchase additional annual leave.

An opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion for a Trade Assistant (Crane and Truck Driver) to join the workshop team. You will join a small team that safely, effectively and efficiently carries out maintenance of our Dredge, support craft fleet and other mechanical equipment. You will assist with workshop, site and vessel general maintenance including the operation of 20t Franna, forklift, light and medium rigid trucks.

• You're an all-rounder Trade Assistant ideally from a mechanical background but we're open to civil construction, mining or similar.
• You hold a Medium Rigid truck licence and ideally a non-slewing crane ticket or a willingness to obtain this ticket.
• You demonstrate a commitment to safety and are familiar with the safe usage of equipment.
• You're driven to deliver results and take accountability for all assigned work.
• You're keen to learn and develop and enjoy working within a small team environment.
