About Us

Maweja Super Care is an NDIS-registered provider delivering high-quality, person-centred support to participants with complex and high-intensity needs across New South Wales and Queensland. Our mission is to empower individuals to live independently, maintain dignity, and participate fully in their communities.

We are currently seeking dedicated, professional, and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing team and provide one-on-one support to participants in their homes and the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance (e.g. showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
  • Support participants with mobility, manual handling, and the safe use of equipment (hoists, wheelchairs, commodes).
  • Assist with meal preparation, household cleaning, and community access.
  • Monitor and document participant progress, health, and wellbeing in compliance with NDIS standards.
  • Administer or supervise medications following the care plan and medication protocols.
  • Uphold participant dignity, rights, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain accurate shift notes and escalate incidents or concerns to the Operations Manager immediately.
  • Work collaboratively with RNs, OTs, and multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Full Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (company vehicle provided where applicable).
  • Understanding of manual handling, infection control, and person-centred care.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and empathy when supporting vulnerable clients.

Desirable

  • Experience working with high-intensity support needs (e.g. spinal injury, PEG feeding, catheter care).
  • Knowledge of ShiftCare or similar care management systems.
  • Previous experience with NDIS documentation, incident reporting, and risk management.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $36.80 – $38.80 per hour
