As
Manager, Tax – Indirect Tax Asia
you will be responsible, in collaboration with the Cytiva Indirect Tax Team, for ensuring that Cytiva legal entities comply with all regional Indirect Tax obligations. You will be part of a team that is supporting our commercial teams to deliver for our customers, you will support our sourcing team to ensure that goods are in the right place at the right time, you will support on compliance and advisory work for the region. You will work with project teams to support changes driven by business change and tax legislative changes.
This position reports to the
Global Indirect Tax Leader
and is part of the
Global Indirect Tax Team

What You Will Do
- You will support our Indirect Tax compliance processes in Asia to ensure that Cytiva entities pay the right tax, at the right time.
- Working with the local teams you will be responsible for ensuring that our Indirect Tax returns are filed on time and ensuring that all payments are made by the due date.
- You will support on audits from relevant taxing authorities. Ensuring that information is collated in an efficient manner and that responses are made on time and in a clear and transparent way.
- You will support on specific projects and tax authority changes identified.
- You will be responsible for the collation of quarterly management reporting around Indirect Tax key metrics globally.
Who You Are
- You will have a Bachelor's degree and have at least 3 years' experience working in an Indirect Tax environment, either in Industry or in a professional services environment.
- You will have a proven track record of being able to work independently whilst keeping team members updated on progress.
- You will have experience in liaising directly with Taxing Authorities, both in terms of providing information but also challenging their assumptions and assessments.
- You will be able to explain complex Indirect Tax issues in a clear and concise manner, not using jargon that a non-Indirect Tax person would not understand. You will be able to put Indirect Tax issues in context of business issues.
- You will have experience in supporting junior team members – helping them grow and achieve their potential. Being able to provide valuable and constructive feedback.
