We are one of the most established coffee providers in the Swan Valley and are hunting for 3-4 baristas to help us provide great coffee to the good folks of SV.

We are young owners who grew up in the WA coffee scene, this is our primary location and we've got over 35 years of combined hospitality experience - so if you are looking at coffee/hospo as a career path we can show you how to do it the right way / or if you're chasing a position in a business that can offer good hours, good work and good culture, we would really love to hear from you.

We're looking for people who can work hard and fast, keen to learn, leave their ego at the door, know that coffee is a team sport, and that treating customers and staff with respect is really just good life advice.

As with every other job in hospitality - we need our baristas to agree to one day of weekend work. We're happy to lock the day in so your roster doesn't change massively week to week - or be a bit flexible if that works easier for you.

We've listed the role as casual - but we are also always looking for permanent long-term crew if we can all see a strong fit together.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The Role

We can find the right number of hours for the right people; we are open 7 Days a week. Must be able to work one weekend day each week. Our casual staff generally work between 15-34 hours. Permanent roles, and career progression is always available for anyone if we're a great fit together.

We are looking for 3-4 casual experienced baristas to join our awesome Kafe + Drive-thru team.  We are a high-volume location, so you need to be able to work fast, work clean and to a high standard.

You will need to be available weekends and be a happy and efficient individual that loves delivering exceptional customer experiences.

If you have any interest in moving into areas like Coffee Education, Roasting, Hospitality Management - we are the right place for you.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Core Duties:

  • Making high-quality coffee at a consistently fast pace
  • Cash handling and POS operation
  • Exceptional customer service
  • General cleaning
  • Maintaining standards
  • Exceptional organisation within the drive thru/kafé
  • Helping staff with other workloads, and general kafé or Kwik Koffee duties

Skills and experience

Core Requirements:

  • Minimum 2yrs experience as a barista in a fast-paced role
  • Early Starts (from 5am in the drive-thru)
  • Fast + Efficient
  • Good banter skills
  • Must be available at least one weekend day
  • MUST PROVIDE COVER LETTER - Applications without a cover letter will not be accepted.
