We Opened the Doors to Our Brand-New Larger Holistic Centre In March 2024, and Even in Such a Short Space of Time, it has Excelled Past all Our Expectations and Growing Rapidly. At The Calming Suite We Need a Visionary Dietitian To Come onto our Team and Empower Teens And Young Adults With Eating disorders, Neurodivergent Nutrition needs, Gut health, Sports Nutrition, Women's health Issues, Weight Management and body image Heal Unhealthy Relationships With Food Holistically. We are looking for someone who can help people Build Mental Resilience Against Normalised Rhetoric Diet Cultures, Thin-Ideals And Oppression Of People In Marginalised Bodies And Identities. To Embrace Body Neutrality And Learn How To Let Go Of Negative Mental Thoughts Rules And Core Beliefs Around Food, Body Image And The Perception They Are Valued By Others Based On Their Appearance.

By Joining Our Team, You Will Have The Opportunity To Work Alongside Dr Alissa Knight as the Director, Supervisor, and also an Exceptional team of Friendly, inclusive, Fellow Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists, Front Desk Administrators Who Are Also Committed To Doing Work That Is Meaningful And That Makes An Impact Our Clients. We are quite a younger, vibrant team, but exude in dedication, commitment to innovation, clinical learning and change.

We can initially offer either a Salaried role or a sub-contractor model 1-2 days a week At Our Clarence Park Clinic, With The Potential To Increase As Your Caseload Grows. You'll have autonomy in how you practice, with access to regular clinical supervision, peer support, and ongoing professional development.

Please Note: While we anticipate this will be currently offered as a contractor position (ABN required), we are very open to exploring a salaried role for the right candidate.

WHAT YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE:

• Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia
• [Not essential] Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) status or willingness to obtain
• Experience (or desire) to work with teens, young adults with eating disorders and/or disordered eating, health issues, weight management issues, and sports performance.
• Confidence supporting young people and families
• Strong communication skills and clinical judgment
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• A vibrant personality, and someone who has strong rapport building skills
• A desire to be part of a team culture and the wider community.
• A willingness to step outside of just the private practice setting and consider travel opportunities with us, being involved in school presentations (eating disorder and body image prevention), conferences and other community events.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Accreditation And Membership: Accredited Practising Dietitian And Current DA Member.
• Understanding Of, And Commitment To, The Health At Every Size Principles.
• Understanding Of, And Training In (Or Willingness To Be Trained In) Eating Disorders Treatment.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance And Public Liability Insurance.
• Police Check And Working With Children Check (Or In Process Of Applying For).
