What We Do:
Our team helps individuals in the community with dietetic treatment of an eating disorder. Through nutritional rehabilitation, psychoeducation and evidence-based therapies, our dietitians help to move our clients away from the misery of an eating disorder and towards a more joyful life.
Position Summary:
This part-time, ongoing position is suitable for an experienced and driven dietitian who is passionate about developing their skills in eating disorder treatment. The successful candidate will apply to become or will already hold the ANZAED eating disorder credential for dietitians. They will receive a high level of internal dietetic supervision and external consultation support from leaders in the field to become competent as an eating disorder clinician and to succeed in the role.

Essential Criteria:
· Highly driven towards a focus on and commitment to eating disorder treatment and support
· Ability to demonstrate dietetic practice that aligns with our core values of weight-neutral care and function-based nutritional rehabilitation
· Experience in addressing conflict in consultations
· Ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of clients with eating disorders using evidence-based interventions
· Possess an understanding of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy enhanced for eating disorders
· Possess an understanding of Family Based Therapy for eating disorders
· Awareness of Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder
· Experience using clinical management software
· Exceptional time management of their client case load
· Experience in working within team care arrangements or eating disorder management plans with an ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making
· Possess a high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to demonstrate capacity to engage, negotiate and collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g. general practitioners, psychologists, other allied health providers, government and non-government agencies, NDIS)
· Minimum of 2 years of clinical dietetic experience
Preferred Criteria:
· Knowledge of trauma informed care
· Experience in applying Cognitive Behaviour Therapy enhanced for eating disorder
· Experience in applying Family-Based Therapy for eating disorders
· Experience in applying CBT-ARFID
· Possess a good understanding of NDIS processes along with an ability to engage with support services as part of an NDIS service agreement
· Any private practice dietetic experience greater than 6 months duration
· Any clinical dietetic experience in a mental health or eating disorder setting greater than 6 months duration
