Job Description
The Role
We are now looking for a Data Analyst to join the team, someone who is able to drive the team in delivering data analysis and reports, develop and managing dashboards, maintain data integrity and have the ability to continually improve the company's analytical processes and methods.
Someone able to extract data requirements from the wider business and work in the analytics function to deliver high quality analysis.
You will be responsible for:
Build and maintain analytics and reporting from data sourced from Snowplow, Google Ads, Financial Systems, and internal data sources.
Drive the technical vision and elevate best practices across the analytics function, mentoring and developing analysts
Maintenance and expansion of product, marketing, financial, commercial, and customer reporting using Bigquery.
Database management and data operations including liaising with Data Engineers to develop and maintain views with our data warehouse.
Monitor and identify actionable insights to help improve marketing systems and site performance.
Support and build data models with the data platforms team.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
Expert at writing and optimising SQL to handle large datasets
Understanding of data warehousing and data modelling
Experience conducting analysis and data mining using Excel
Proficient and direct experience with one or more major data visualisation tools including Tableau/ DataStudio/ QuickSight/ Power BI etc.
Experience with the following or similar platforms: Google Analytics, GCP, AppsFlyer, Firebase, Google Optimize
Python or R experience
An understanding of working for a consumer facing business
