As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll champion exceptional customer service, deliver complete customer experiences, and uphold operational excellence. Adaptability for rotational schedules and weekend availability is essential. Collaborate with our small close team and Senior Management to optimise productivity, sales, and service. Your main responsibilities will include:

SALES & SERVICE:

  • Collaborate with our Senior Management Team to achieve monthly team sales goals.
  • Implement Joe Bananas unique selling tactics, tools and understand key business metrics relating to the store's goals.
  • Create an unparalleled customer experience for all visitors to our stores.
  • Accurately record customer details and provide timely follow-up when necessary.
  • Continuously learn and maintain knowledge of all our products and services.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:

  • Ensure a clear understanding of all communication and complete assigned operational tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Generate daily reports to keep track of store activities.
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments and assist with stocktake procedures.
  • Follow opening and closing policies and procedures meticulously.

PRODUCT & PRESENTATION:

  • Always embody and uphold the highest standards of our company and brand while becoming an expert on Joe Bananas' inspiration narratives and products.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and organisational standards on sales floors.
  • Prepare online orders and ensuring shipments are presented impeccably.

To successfully perform in this role, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Weekend work is essential in this retail role.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be legally authorised to work in Australia.
  • Flexibility to accommodate rotational rosters.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take direction from Senior Management.
  • Openness to receiving and implementing feedback.
  • Previous experience in a customer service-oriented business is preferred, preferably in luxury fashion retail (but not essential).
  • Strong work ethic, honesty, and personal integrity.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Additional Infomation:

  • Familiarity with Shopify, Shopify POS, and a CRM is a plus, although not essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
