Role Overview
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Officer to take the next step in their career within a dynamic, supportive environment. Offered as an initial temporary position with the potential to transition into a permanent role, this opportunity also includes flexible work arrangements, with the option to work up to two days per week from home.
Working as part of a small finance team, you'll be responsible for a broad range of transactional finance duties, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to project work, including process improvements and streamlining current systems using MYOB.
The role is well suited to a self motivated finance professional who is comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with colleagues. Well developed communication skills are essential, as you will frequently liaise with internal stakeholders and play a key role in maintaining efficient financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounts payable processing and supplier reconciliations
- Prepare and complete bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Manage and reconcile corporate credit card transactions
- Assist with month-end processes and financial reporting
- Work with high volumes of transactional data accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and can confidently with a broad range of stakeholders
- High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Experience using MYOB
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- A team player with the desire to grow and learn in a professional environment
