Senior Project Manager

Leading Insurance client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors.

FinXL is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Insurance client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Readiness Implementation for a major Property Fulfilment Transformation Program.
  • Develop project strategies, managing scope, solution, and delivery approach in a complex environment.
  • Define delivery plans and manage execution against prioritisation and resource constraints.
  • Integrate release and implementation activities across technology partners and business functions.
  • Manage the rollout to the builder network, ensuring smooth transition and adoption.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, liaising with Program Leads.
  • Provide governance and reporting over delivery teams, partners, and vendor progress.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of project delivery experience, managing budgets of at least $10m.
  • Proven experience in General Insurance or Financial Services sectors.
  • Strong background in business transformation, application development, and cultural change.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Business Readiness and implementation management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior executives.
  • Solid cost management, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to sequence complex multi-vendor programs.
