Power Station Shutdown – Boilermakers & Fitters

Start: Immediate

Duration: 3 months

Shifts: Mon–Thurs, 9–11hr days with overtime opportunities as required

Nanango-based engineering firm is seeking experienced Boilermakers and Fitters to join a major 3 month power station shutdown. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile fixed plant maintenance while enjoying the benefits of a 4-day work week

What we're looking for:

  • Proven ability to pass a Fabrication Skills Test – quality and efficiency are key.
  • Skilled in stick welding.
  • Commitment to site safety requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years post-trade experience in similar tasks (fixed plant maintenance).
  • White Card and Trade Certificate essential; Working at Height, Confined Space, and EWP qualifications are an advantage.
  • Boilermakers must be able to attend a site fabrication skills test prior to commencement.
  • Must pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol testing.
