About the Opportunity
The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service (PIMHS) is a dedicated, multidisciplinary team providing specialist mental health support to women experiencing moderate to severe mental health concerns during pregnancy and the first year of their baby's life.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Mental Health Professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, recovery-oriented care. This role involves working collaboratively with consumers, families, and service providers to support mental health and wellbeing during the perinatal period.
As a senior member of the team, you will also play a key role in service development, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary collaboration across the district and broader community sector.

What You'll be Doing
As a senior clinician provide leadership, mentorship and supervision, to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team. Carry a clinical caseload, appropriate to the needs of the service.
Where You'll Be Working
SWSLHD Community Mental Health Services provide comprehensive, community-based mental health care across South Western Sydney.
These services cater to different age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and older persons, ensuring specialised care throughout various life stages. The multidisciplinary teams offer a range of supports, including mental health assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and therapy. They work closely with inpatient services, GPs, and other community organisations to provide holistic care.

- Can you provide an example of how you've used your clinical expertise and understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act 2007 to advocate for a consumer within a multidisciplinary team setting? How did you ensure ethical practice, and what impact did your advocacy have on the consumer's care or outcomes?
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
