About the Opportunity

An exceptional opportunity waits for an experienced and skilled Tyre Fitter to become a part of our team at the Gregory open-cut operation. This role not only offers the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment but also provides a unique experience within the mining industry. Join a company that places the utmost importance on the safety and well-being of its employees.  As a Specialist Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of tyre fitment and service of Sojitz's plant and machinery. You will work independently as well as in a team with little direction or supervision to perform required duties and ensure that the application of tyres is conducted safely and effectively.

About you

  • Certificate II Tyre Fitting in Automotive Mechanic or relevant qualifications.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
  • Current HRWL/LF and driver?s license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles in the mining division.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in repairing and replacing heavy mobile plants and contributing to the business's success.
  • Sounds of knowledge of safety procedures, tyre management systems, and standard policies within the mining industry.
