About the business and the role
Platinum Rehabilitation Group is a boutique workplace rehabilitation provider. At Platinum, we focus on creating a culture where employees enjoy coming into work each day due to the support provided by upper management, and comradery between the team.
We are a business that provides dynamic injury management and return to work support services to large Employers, Insurers, and Treatment Providers including Doctors, Physiotherapists and Psychologists. We are currently experiencing increased growth and require multiple Rehabilitation Consultants to join the team.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The core duties of the role:
- Conducting various Assessments (Functional Capacity Evaluations, Vocational Assessments, and Worksite Assessments).
- Managing complex physical / psychological claims.
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Managing a case load of clients (WorkCover, and CTP claims).
- Providing treatment.
- Interacting with various treating professionals including Specialists and Doctors.
Skills and experience
Experience, skills and desired traits:
- Must be either a Provisional Psych, Exercise Physiologist or Occupational Therapist (or in process of attaining registration).
- As we are hiring multiple candidates, experienced Rehabilitation Consultants, and graduates are all welcome to apply.
- Must have ASORC, ESSA, or APHRA registration, or be eligible.
- Must have a valid Drivers Licence / own vehicle.
- Motivated to learn and wants to apply themselves.
- Bubbly personality and the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with varying stakeholders.
- Strong work ethic.
- Team player.
Job benefits and perks

- Bonus paid on a monthly basis unlike the majority of rehabilitation providers who pay every 6 months / yearly.
- KPI required to attain bonus is solely contingent upon billables and does not incorporate repeat referrals and preferred provider agreements.
- Bonus is UNCAPPED
- Pay rises are not limited to yearly reviews. Management rewards hard work, and will increase pay intermittently when deserved.
