Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Team Lead with a strong background in Java 11 to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in software development and team leadership, demonstrating a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering high quality solutions. As a Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers, ensuring best practices in software development, and driving the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Design, develop, and maintain high quality software applications using Java 11.

Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment on project goals.

Mandatory Skills:

Proficient in Java 11 with a strong understanding of object oriented programming principles.

Experience in leading software development teams and managing project timelines.

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in Agile project management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with modern frameworks and libraries such as Spring Boot.

Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Experience in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java 11.

Proven experience in a leadership role within a software development team.

Relevant certifications in Java or project management are a plus.
