About the role:
Classroom Teachers at NCC are committed to inspiring, guiding and empowering students to reach their full potential in all areas of their education: intellectual, emotional, social, physical and spiritual. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and suitably qualified Middle and Senior School classroom teachers committed to Christian education to join our team in 2026.
Teaching opportunities are available from Term 1, 2026 across the following curriculum areas:
- French
- English
- Health and Physical Education (HPE)
- Mathematics
- Science
About You:
We are seeking teachers who hold relevant qualifications and registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT). Successful candidates will demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge, effective classroom practice, and a commitment to student wellbeing and achievement. The ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the broader school community is highly valued.
As a faith-based college, we require someone with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ who can translate their faith into professional practice and contribute meaningfully to our College Mission.
Key Selection Criteria:
- A personal alignment with and commitment to the Mission and Vision of Nambour Christian College.
- Demonstrated Christian faith and genuine care for students.
- Capacity to teach with a high degree of competency as defined under the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- Strong understanding of how curriculum and pedagogy interface with Biblical principles.
- Deep knowledge and passion for curriculum delivery in your specialisation area.
- Competent in communicating effectively with students, families and colleagues.
- Current Queensland Teacher Registration or have the ability to obtain.
- Current First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
