Logistics Supervisor

PARC Engineering is looking for an experienced and hands on Logistics supervisor to join our team on a
2:1 FIFO roster
in Western Australia. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the safe, timely and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from site. You'll manage staff schedules, work closely with suppliers and project stakeholders and ensure all logistic operations run smoothly to support our high – performing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily logistics operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage staff schedules, performance, and training to ensure productivity and safety compliance.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules with carriers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Liaise with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast and plan logistics needs.
- Investigate and resolve logistics issues, discrepancies, or delays in shipping and receiving.
- Implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics, KPIs, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with team members, contractors, and senior management
Requirements
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with demonstrated experience managing teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics regulations.
- Proficient in warehouse and inventory management systems
- Ability to analyse logistics data to improve operational efficiency.
- Competent in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and logistics tracking software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset to assess logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment and materials advantageous
- Experience in mining and construction with BHP induction highly regarded
