Job Description

As the Category Coordinator you will manage product data, generate category reports, and oversee promotional content, samples, signage, and proofs. You'll coordinate promotions end to end with suppliers and internal teams, ensure KPI alignment, handle ordering timelines, and design planograms.

A Peek Into Your Petstock Day

  • Provide accurate and timely maintenance of product database including but not limited to price changes & promotions
  • Preparation of category specific reports along with accurate & timely entering, reporting and calculation of data
  • Provide category-based content and overviews for our stores
  • Management of promotional samples, completion of photography brief & checking of catalogue proofs for accuracy and consistency
  • Coordination of in store signage and ticketing requests
  • Coordinate the end-to-end promotional process in conjunction with the Category Manager
  • Coordinate all promotional submissions from suppliers & ensure the offers meet the company's promotional program
  • Ensure all promotional submissions meet the required KPI's & confirmed with suppliers within the required timelines
  • Work with Merchandise Planner to ensure all ordering timelines are met including stock availability
  • Prepare plan-o-gram & merchandising templates for each promotional period

Do you have the below experience and looking to take the next step in your career?

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Previous Category Assistant experience in a retail environment desirable although not essential
  • Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills & attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders
